As for me, Eastport is beautiful at any time of the year. There was no way I’d miss a chance to revisit Eastport and dive at my beloved Old Steamship Pier dive site. Thus, as soon as my schedule cleared up, we packed our truck and set our course due east. The road condition was good, and we should’ve arrived by 6:00 PM. But about 90 miles away from Eastport, as I was turning right, the left front wheel started making a drumming noise. Therefore, not knowing what was happening, I drove slower, and instead of 6:00 PM, we arrived around 8.

The following day, everything was closed, and I was unable to reach a local mechanic. So, I concentrated on the upcoming dives, hoping, that I won’t need to walk from the motel East to the short line, albeit it’s not that far.
